Your Responsibilities:
· System development, design and specification for subsea and surface applications in marine science, offshore energy and naval projects.
· System assembly and testing of deliveries at our main office in Hamburg, Germany
· System deployment and commissioning for clients on-site all over the world including off-shore
· Technical documentation, customer support and other tasks related to the systems design, manufacturing and operation
· Consulting on new product development
· Optimization of technical documentation
Your Profile:
· Comprehensive technical understanding
· Knowledge about oceanographic sensors, acoustic profiling, sonars or hydrophones
· Troubleshooting skills in mechatronic systems
· Practical experience from marine work and commissioning
· Good understanding of the development process in different project phases
· Creative but well-structured, motivated and thorough with a target-oriented working behaviour
· Willingness to travel: The position involves close cooperation with our German head office and Norwegian and international customers and vendors
· Very good English language skills
