Exciting management position in successful, Norwegian Fintech company

Infront ASA is a Norwegian fintech company that develops scalable market-leading software that allow users in more than 30 countries making sense of an enormous mountain of financial information and stock exchange data. Financial professionals across Europe and South Africa rely on Infront for global real-time market data, trading, news, and analytics covering key markets.

To a new exciting position, we are now hiring a development manager who will be responsible for optimizing the development in Infront. As Developent Manager you will manage our 20 skilled C++ and JavaScript developers located in our headquarter in Oslo. Infront ASA has grown rapidly and our Development Manager will be responsible for facilitating effective development processes on our growth journey while also being a direct report for our developers. As the position is a new position, you will be part of developing the role. However, we know that you will:

• manage projects and deliveries across teams, including customer contact
• continuously develop methods and frameworks that to can increase Infront’s development capacity and quality
• learn about our products and technical environment
• make sure the unit is correctly staffed, thus be responsible for recruitment and following up personal development with each team member
• collaborate closely with tech leads and product managers to make sure we reach our goals
• facilitate a good working environment and drive motivation

We expect our Development Manager to be an internal change agent that can take us to new heights.

Who are you?

Maybe you are a teamleader suitable for taking on a larger managerial challenge OR maybe you are a development manager that finds our company and position exciting OR maybe you are a project manager with solid experience from frameworks like agile, Prince2, lean etc. We expect you to have more than 2 years relevant management experience.

You have a good technical understanding. In addition, you have experience from managing developers.

It is an advantage if you have higher education, preferably with additional education in management or project management.

You master how to motivate and coach technical and creative people, are structured and  “get things done”. You communicate well, gives energy to others and are emphatic. Finally, you are fluent in English, oral and written.
