1470- QHSE Supervisor

To strengthen our QHSE organisation we are now looking for an ambitious QHSE Supervisor to join our rapidly growing Company.

From the offices in Bergen and UK we are handling seismic operations with QHSE support for our large fleet, and you will have the possibility to join a highly experienced and dynamic team. 

Shearwater takes the position as the world’s leading full-service geophysical company; with head office in Bergen. The company recently completed a transaction which will give opportunities for ambitious, dynamic and competent talent to join our rapidly growing business

Duties and responsibilities : 

• Assist with the development of Project Risk Assessments 
• Be a support to Operations and Technical Departments on QHSE Matters
• Assist in the maintenance of Shearwater’s QHSE databases
• Assist in QHSE training 
• Participate in QHSE Inspections and Audits as required
• Develop and support Quality Control Interface Documentation 
• Participate in offshore incident investigations as required

Qualifications

• Education to degree level
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Proven QHSE and Marine Operational understanding
• NEBOSH, auditor and investigation training

Personal qualities

• Possess positive attitude, team leadership, interpersonal and communication skills to deal with staff at all levels
• Good knowledge of the English language, and can provide documents to a high standard on short time limits
• Fluent with spreadsheet manipulation and Application configuration
• Team Player within Operations, Technical, Sales and QHSE communities
