Aker Solutions` Project Engineering Services based in Fornebu is responsible for delivering asset integrity services for greenfield and brownfield projects both to Aker Solutions` projects and external customers. The main focus is to develop and optimize the operational and maintenance needs for oil field assets during the concept, design and the operational phase. The team consists of a small group of enthusiastic professionals with Bachelor`s, Master`s and Ph.D degrees within engineering. The role requires some travelling and working abroad.

We are now looking for a Maintenance and Operability Senior Engineer who can strengthen our team

Responsibilities and Tasks:

The Maintenance and Operability Senior Engineer is responsible for defining, developing and executing methodologies within the area of Asset Integrity Management. This has to be performed both individually and as a leader of a team.

Responsibilities and tasks include but are not limited to:

• Develop methodologies to optimize design of assets and investment cost versus operational cost
• Lead and carry out equipment RCM/RBI analysis, FMECA, and operational and maintenance equipment task analysis
• Liaison with greenfield development project during design phase
• Co-operation and coordination with brownfield and MOD engineering
• Participate in marketing, sales and tendering activities as required
• Lead and carry out lifetime extension studies
• Preparation of maintenance plans according to NORSOK Z-008 and operating procedures
• Lead and carry out spare parts strategy development and analyses for commissioning, operating and capital spares
• Develop asset O&M manuals
• Lead and carry out development of performance standards related to safety
• Critical equipment and relevant performance assurance activities
• Mentor junior colleagues

Qualifications and Personal Qualities:

• Bachelor`s or Master's degree in engineering with 10-15 years’ experience in a Maintenance and Planning department preferably within the Oil & Gas industry
• Asset operational experience is an advantage
• Competent team leader / professional with basic knowledge of budgeting and cost control
• High level of safety awareness is mandatory
• Fully conversant with industry standards for offshore safety and related safety procedures
• In-depth knowledge of: 

               - Safe working practices as applied in Oil & Gas

               - Codes, standards and specifications as used in maintenance engineering and                       maintenance planning for Oil & Gas

               - The operations of Oil & Gas facilities

               - Company practices, processes and expectations with respect to operations                          management planning

• Expert technical and decision-making skills
• Strong understanding of project execution, engineering, construction, commissioning and completion practices
• Good knowledge of SAP, Maximo, WorkMate or other CMMS database
• Previous successful leadership role within asset integrity planning
• Demonstrated ability to develop successful working relationships and become a team leader/player
• Fluent written and spoken English which is required to function effectively within a project team and to communicate with project management, contractors and subcontractors
