Responsibilities

• RFQ & negotiations
• Supplier responsible for defined suppliers
• Identify and select primary and secondary suppliers
• Keep item information updated; hereof lead time, cost, country of origin and other relevant item setting information
• Issue purchase orders and expedite orders
• Coordinate contract agreements with suppliers
• Verify the purchase orders and keep purchase order status up to date
• Actively pursue cost reduction programs with suppliers coordinated with category management to lower cost and improve service or material availability
• Evaluate and/monitor vendor performance in accordance with established processes and systems
• Perform daily operation with high focus on date management in accordance with KPIs defined by management
• Perform purchasing support “tophat” for other facilities
• Ensuring that daily operations are carried out using relevant tools and systems
• Close cooperation with engineering and manufacturing engineer related to selection of optimal components to comply with engineering requirements, design and commercial requirements
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Higher eduaction
• Experience with mechanical and/ or hydraulic products
• Excellent communication skills in both written and oral English
• Effort-willing with good skills to work both independently and with others
