Experienced developer to help shape Vismas next generation Payroll solution

Vismas cloud-based HRM and Payroll solution is rapidly expanding, and were looking for a software architect to work with other architects and developers to build and shape the business logic layer. Our solution is designed to be easily ported to different countries and markets, and youll be a key player evangelising the business logic layer of our payroll solution. You will work to continuously improve the development standards and practices of all of the teams, across the countries and markets.

We are looking for someone who has experience as an architect or has ambitions to develop into an architecture role within software development. You are passionate about technology and use your software development skills to make a difference. The ideal candidate sees the greatness of integrating products with a strong standing in the market space with new and exciting technology, to bring new opportunities for both the products and customers.

Job description

• Develop the architecture of the business layer and its communication with Payroll core

• Actively support developers in finding high-quality solutions for complex changes

• Be part of the DevOps team and actively take part in developing Visma.net Payroll

• Be an evangelist for the system architecture, promoting best development practices

• Work with other  software architects and developers to define direction and standards

• Drive the development of the product, based upon technology trends

• Responsiblefor overall planning, executing, follow-up and reporting on technological architecture deliveries, non-functional requirements and relevant risks

• Point of contact for external parties with respect to the technical aspects of the business logic layer

• Work closely with technical QA and infrastructure engineers to automate all aspects of the solution

• Communicate with and assist software architects in the teams to clarify technical issues

• Be on top of relevant technology trends

Your qualifications

• Higher education, preferably Master degree, within communications technology/computer science

• Excellent knowledge of software development, including frameworks, common development patterns and best practices

• Experience from architectural work within system development, preferably in larger systems and Cloud/SaaS solutions

• Ability to lead, inspire and engage

• Ability to work with high-level concepts and see the bigger picture

• Experience with agile software development

• Experience with Continuous Delivery and test automation

• Enjoys working in an international environment

• Excellent, written and verbal English skills

• Strong collaborative skills

• Experience with C# and the .Net framework is a plus

• Experience in the payroll domain is a plus
