Creating UX/UI for tomorrow's drilling & well management system

The UX Designer will work as part of the Product development team in the Stavanger office. Your role will be to initiate, plan and build Exebenus’ UX approach, roadmaps and standards for all UX disciplines. The role has responsibility for coordination and management of internal and external resources associated with the UX for the Exebenus applications. The Exebenus application’s user experience need to stand out in the market and display an exceptional interaction, visual and content design to be a key driver of the company’s products market position and success.
In this role you will be part of digitalizing existing workflows in a new and exciting way for the drilling and wells professionals. Domain professionals – inhouse and at client offices – will push your UX creativity and skills. Your design could impact and set new standards for operation applications within the drilling and completion domain.
You will be a tireless advocate for the end users and work to distill complex problems into simplified user workflows and work processes. Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of the user experience. Own the user experience function end-to-end. The love for collaboration and structure are therefore skills you need to possess. You have more than three years’ experience in UX design, a bachelor’s degree in IT and/or graphical design, and experience in areas such as Interaction, Information or Interface design; Human-Computer Interaction; Design Planning; Graphic Design; Communications. You are a highly motivated, creative and versatile individual with UX experience to design intuitive applications. You need to have deep experience with interaction design, be fluent in web information architecture, and be able to translate functional objectives into detailed specifications. You need to have the ability to understand the end users, have a passion for user-centric design, and a critical eye toward clear visuals and text.
In your role you will be dealing with customers; oil & gas application end users, internal developers, and technical stakeholders. You therefore need to have good communication skills. The role will be in the Stavanger office.
