We have a vacant position as an ACCOUNTANT

The position is in the accounting department which is serving the business units of FMC Kongsberg Subsea AS and FMC Technologies Norway AS.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for posting incoming invoices
- Responsible for reconciling IC balances at month end
- Responsible for reconciling bank accounts at month end
- Responsible for Cash and Debt reporting at month end
- Responsible for General Accounting tasks

Main Tasks
- Posting incoming invoices
- Reconcile IC balances at month end
- Reconcile bank accounts at month end
- Cash and Debt reporting at month end
- Communication with purchasers, vendors and Master data Management (MDM) team
- Follow up Financial Authority
- Follow up and post purchasing card transactions
- General Accounting tasks, including account reconciliation and all types of journal entries
- Handling and sorting mail

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Open minded, communicative, analytical, and self-driven personality
- Good knowledge of Accounting standards and principles
- Good knowledge of Norwegian tax and VAT rules
- Experience with SAP is preferable
- Advanced Excel skills
- Fluently in Norwegian and English language, oral and writing
- 2 years of experience in general accounting department is preferable
