The newly established Enterprise IT Architecture is taking a leading role in Telia Company’s transformation journey, modernizing Telia Company’s Architecture landscape and Ways of Working. 

We are seeking Enterprise Architects to help fill our commitments towards the business units we serve.

Your next challenge?

As an Enterprise Architect you will help define the technology strategy and follow up the planning and execution of initiatives that work towards realizing the strategy. The team manages a functional portfolio of all IT initiatives across all of Telia Company, as well as the architecture standards and best practices for systems and applications including both in-house development as well as third-party applications.

The role goes beyond designing IT systems. It’s about delivering business change, working on how people, processes, and technology interact to perform the fundamental activities of the business in both current and future states. 

Another characteristic of this position is working in cross-functional teams, and partnering with the business, solutions architects and technology teams to identify standards, analyze technology trends to develop reference architectures and roadmaps that guide the evolution of products and services. 

Furthermore, you will provide guidance and direction to project teams to ensure a comprehensive and coherent view across Business, Information, Systems and Technology. 

Who are you?

As you will be working closely with the business, architects, developers and business partners in order to lead and coordinate the technical and business discussions relative to a future architect direction across multiple teams or complex product lines the following experience and skills are required for this position:

Your experience

We are looking for you who have a strong enterprise architecture design experience, preferably 5+ years’ experience with large-scale solution and enterprise architecture design. You are comfortable with working in a rapidly changing business environment and have experience with requirements gathering, understanding business needs and system design. It is also important to us that you have experience with software development, managing IT vendor relationships, and it is a great plus if you have experience from telecommunications sector. You also have a degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology or related field and/or equivalent work experience.
