Our vision is to Capture all shared content and every sharing-gesture in M365 with enough precision, performance and reliability to support habit-forming experiences across every relevant surface in M365. Our service currently ingests billions of shared items and serves billions of queries every month.

You will work in a team of developers, data scientists and architects responsible for every stage of the software development lifecycle – from early design to implementation, roll-out, monitoring and scaling. Microsoft services run with low latency and industry-leading availability and reliability, and we operate our services under a devops model where you will be responsible for high service quality together with the rest of your team. Your code will be powering experiences used by hundreds of millions of users every day and you’ll get ample opportunity to be challenged across every dimension of software engineering in a highly distributed system. 

We’re looking for people who are motivated by finding elegant solutions to complex problems. You have a proven track record of solid software design and development, preferably with large-scale web services. Ideally you have background with C#, C++ or Java. A BSc degree or equivalent in Computer Science (or related fields like Electronic Engineering, Physics or Mathematics) is required. A MSc or PhD is not required, but a passion for continuously learning new skills and techniques is. You need to have a collaboration mindset and enjoy working together with others to achieve your goals.
