Advantec a BHGE company is looking for an Engineering Manager

Role Summary: 

The Engineering Manager for Intervention Products will provide technical and operational leadership for all products relating to topside subsea operations across the combined Subsea Production & Intervention Controls Systems Group. The role will have responsibility for all IWOCS products. The role reports to the Global Engineering Manager of the Subsea Production & Intervention Controls Systems Group. 

Essential Responsibilities: 

Leading a team of >20 Engineers globally
Development of a world class mutli-disciplinary engineering team
Providing overall technical guidance and development of a world class product offering
Management across leadership (both peers and senior leaders) to ensure delivery and flawless execution of all relevant based NPI and Customer specific project deliverable's (EPC and Brownfield Project types)
Interface to internal and external regional clients, building relationships and world class response/interaction
Determination of product roadmap (along with Product Managements) and lifecycle and ongoing sustainability of the product suite
Development of mechanism to utilise data from within products to drive customer outcomes digitally. Ability to drive deep understanding of product performance through development and testing
Interface and collaboration with Projects and Systems Integration Engineering Team
Ownership of process improvements and Say/Do metrics
Diligent Control of Technical Change process
Leadership across Product Service and 24/7 activities ensuring consistency of service and full rota coverage as needed 

Qualifications/Requirements: 

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or Science based discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience
Proven Subsea experience across Production and/or intervention Controls technology
Experience in leading global teams and developing talent
Ability to champion and promote the BHGE Cultural Pillars
Deep understanding of Subsea architecture and ability to translate that into a winning subsea offering.
Practical knowledge of NPI and project requisition processes
Solid understanding of BHGE Digital Strategy/tools and linkage to product offering
Experience developing world class, market leading products
Experience delivering projects on both small and large scales
Ability to travel internationally as required at short notice.
