As a Senior Project Manager Construction at Eolus, you will be part of an exciting transformation in one of Sweden's leading companies in renewable energy. We are facing extensive expansion and are looking at renewables in the Nordic, Baltics and US. We have started assessing solar and storage for coming business cases within the arena of renewables. Eolus is a knowledge-based company with a small organization, where the dependence of the individual employee's knowledge, experience and creativity is high. We are characterized by an open and prestigeless atmosphere with short decision paths.

The service and duties

As a  Construction Project Manager with us, you will work with the entire construction process in the wind power project from start to finish, implying that you will plan and follow through with regards all from late development up until early operations. Your responsibility will be to manage the construction work and to your support you will have the site manager on site. In this project scope we have three packages of responsibility; WTGs, electrical and BoP (foundations and roads). Your task is to ensure that everything is in place and that the right people are involved, both internally and externally and that the projects are delivered on time at cost or lower. 

In Sundsvall we are currently building 23+43+18 WTGs with Vestas WTGs and Veidekke is contracted for the BoP works on all three sites. The total budget of the projects is almost 4 billion SEK. The projects have dedicated financial sponsors and in Jenåsen Google has taken on a PPA. On the grid connection side we work with E.ON Elnät who is the DSO in this area. 

Who are we looking for?

To be motivated in this role, you need to be influential and independent. Leading projects and construction works in a safe and successful way is what you enjoy and have extensive knowledge within. Fundamentally the budget and your timeplans are the main drivers for you to keep track on and you enjoy solving challenging tasks throughout the project by finding alternative routes and solutions on the challenges occurring.
 
As a person you are flexible and enjoy meeting people. An entrepreneurial mindset characterizes the entire company and how we work with the various project challenges. We believe that entrepreneurship needs to be achieved in all parts of the value chain and in construction this for us results in budget awareness, creative solving methodologies of technical and commercial challenges as well as new ways of working to get even more effective and achieve better results.
 
We believe that processes are important in your structural work pattern. HSSE has a natural part of your working style and you are driven by safe environments and successful construction works. Probably you have constructed this kind of assets in the past;  via a WTG supplier, utility, developer and/or a financial sponsor arrangement. It could also be that you have been leading one of the larger infrastructural projects lately in Northern Europe.
 
The project timeline is from now up until end of 2019. After this we know we will have other exciting projects coming up from our portfolio. We will also during 2019 build upf the asset management team and services to our investor clients and maybe you fit into also this picture and role and would like to be part of the O&M center that we will establish in the joint process with Vestas who has got the full service agreement on the projects.
 
Qualifications:

• Preferably a Degree within Engineering or corresponding; Energy or Environment orientation is meritorious
• Several years of experience from construction projects with solid understanding of construction of infrastructure – roads, grid connections, WTG installation and erections etc.
• Proven experience leading and coaching construction site projects
• Experience from the wind power industry is meritorious
• Fluent in English, Swedish is considered a merit
