Responsibilities
- The structural lead shall be Company's contact at site for all Structural fabrication engineering matters related to the Topside FC and Integration contracts
- Contribute in the familiarization between EPma and FC & Integration contractors
- Actively participate in the Topside FC & Integration Engineering team meetings
- Establish working relations with contractor's Structural discipline
- Review site queries from FC & Integration contractors within the discipline
- Handle all Structural engineering matters between the EPma contractor and the Topside FC & Integration contractors
- Participate in discipline and multidiscipline reviews
- Follow up Structural fabrication engineering
- Review Non-Conformity Requests from FC & Integration contractors within the discipline and contribute to evaluation of NCR's raised by other disciplines
- Co-ordinate discipline tasks across contract boarders
- Plan, execute and follow up verifications related to fabrication engineering
- Proactively seek for improvements and simplifications in scope of work
- Proactively work in the interface towards the Construction team
- Identify and contribute to closing of technical uncertainties
- Ensure experience transfer to and from the project
- Act according to the project code
Required expertise
- Master of Science, Bachelor of Science or similar
- Minimum 8 yrs relevant experience from offshore project execution
- Minimum 2 yrs site experience
- Good structural analysis and design knowledge
- Familiar with recognized structural analysis software tools
- Experience from detail engineering
- HSE training in accordance with Company recommendations
- Multi discipline understanding
- Good knowledge of NORSOK requirements standards,Company technical requirements and other relevant rules and regulations
- Ability to work in a team
- High ethical standard and good knowledge of "Ethics in Company"
- Ability to handle high work loads
Language requirements: English
Work location: Onshore Stord, first period at Fornebu, Oslo April - September 2018 and mobillisation to Stord is planned in September 2018
Contract period: 01.05.2018 - 30.04.2021
Option period: 4 x 3 months
