Kvaerner is a market leader in the Norwegian oil and gas market and is now preparing for new projects. The HSSEQ Department is responsible for preventive work and supervision regarding health, safety, environment and quality in all projects to be performed in Kvaerner.

This includes maintaining and continually improving the management system, active counselling and auditing.

We are currently looking for an Engineeer Environment who will join our team in one of our projects.

Work place is Stord. Travel may be required.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Assist line mangement with planning, organising and monitoring environmental issues
• Environment mapping onshore and offshore
• Follow up of discharge permits and work with treatment plant
• Environment risk assessments
• Contribute in follow up of project and in tenders
• Environmental training
• Environmental accounting
• Reporting

Qualifications:
• Bachelor- /Master degree within Environment or equivalent
• 1-3 years relevant experience
• Good IT skills
• Fluent Norwegian and English language, verbal and written
• Team player
• Structured
• Positive attitude and solution oriented
• Customer focus
