Booking Assistant (Oslo based)

Duties:

-      Overseeing emails accordingly to priority levels and sequence, responding where required

-      To answer customer telephone enquiries and communicate with clients in a professional, courteous & friendly manner in order to deliver a seamless service

-      Maximize all sales opportunities (follow up all quotes)

-      To take client payments (both deposit and full balances) and process correctly in system

-      To provide support to clients if they wish to amend their booking after it has been confirmed, and quote the correct price for name amendments.

-      Attend travel fairs and exhibitions

  (90% english/10% scandinavian e-mails/telephone conversations)

* Strong communication skills and telephone manner

* Able to sell confidently

* Good listening skills and the ability to anticipate customers needs

* Experience from tourism/event industry

We are looking for:

You are sensitive to customer needs, prepared to work independently. You will be able to deal with any changes and amendments to bookings that may occur before or after travel date. You will provide exceptional customer service at all times. You will be organized and able to see complicated bookings through from start to finish.

You are mac and windows competent and have extensive knowledge of excel and word programs.

Work hours:

• 80% position
• 30 hours / week
• 6 hours / day (Monday - Friday)
