Kvaerner is a market leader in the Norwegian oil and gas market, and is now preparing for new projects where the Procurement department is a key to successful delivery of these projects.

Procurement represents more than 60% of the total value in our field development projects and therefore has a very large impact on the overall project success. The procurement department has three main areas of responsibility, Procurement, Material Control and Logistics. Personnel working in the procurement department will get international experience by working with global suppliers and may also get the opportunity to be posted for international assignments. Procurement is responsible for all major supplies to our projects when developing new oil and gas fields, where negotiating and cooperation with our suppliers is a vital role of the job.

As an employee in Kvaerner you will have unique chance to be part of a procurement team with the opportunity to impact the projects overall cost, execution and delivery. You will be challenged to think along new lines, explore new markets and perform negotiations of major contracts.
