Chief Operating Officer (COO) Marine - DOF Group

The DOF Group is seeking a new leader for the marine management organisation.

We are looking for candidates for the following position: Chief Operating Officer (COO) Marine - DOF Group

The COO Marine will have the overall responsibility for the ship management activities in the DOF fleet. This includes responsibility for marine operations and activities, technical and operational performance, budget control and reporting.

The COO Marine will have relationships with internal stakeholders globally and externally with Clients, Subcontractor and Suppliers, Industry Associations, Professional ssociations and Statutory and Legislative Authorities.

Qualifications required for the position:

• MSc / BSc. degree or similar within maritime studies;
• At least 10 years’ experience from senior management positions in the offshore shipping industry;
• A successful track record from operational and management roles;
• Successful track record of effectively leading teams;
• Solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development and strategic planning;
• Contracting experience on an executive level.

• Strong leadership skills;
• Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking and presentation skills;
• An action oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible and innovative approach to operational management.
