Lead Project Planner

Aker Solutions’ Subsea Project Planning team based in Fornebu is responsible for proactive time management and forecasting of subsea production system deliverables.

We are looking for experienced lead project planners who can strengthen our team

Responsibilities and Tasks:

The Lead Project Planner is responsible for the development and maintenance of high quality and reliable schedules enabling successful execution of subsea production projects. Responsibilities and tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and manage the project planning function within the project
• Develop and maintain high quality schedules that integrate manufacturing, supply chain and engineering
• Report progress and ensure performance of required planning activities with execution of our tenders and projects. Interact with project stakeholders
• Part of project management team
• Advise Project Director and provide information, decision basis and schedule analysis
• Actively participate in planning, analyzing, forecasting and prioritizing of execution at all stages
• Identify and highlight irregularities and criticalities, propose corrective actions
• Actively support improvement initiatives within project and company
• Secure adherence to Aker Solutions’ project execution model

Qualifications / Personal Attributes:

• Master degree in Engineering or Business
• Minimum 7 years experience within project planning
• SAP, Primavera/Safran experience preferred
• Subsea project / product experience required
• Used to working in a multiple discipline environment
• Technology / Commercial understanding and attitude
• Proven experience in similar position from large and complex subsea or topside projects with many stakeholders
• Analytical, structured and strong ability to handle complexity
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluency in English
