For GE Healthcare's plant in Oslo we are now looking for an operational Financial Analyst who thrives in a dynamic environment.

Role Summary:

The Lead Financial Analyst is responsible for collection and analyzing financial data and making recommendations to finance and local/global operational leaders. The position reports to Country Finance Manager Norway, GE Healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of the monthly/quarterly/annual reporting process, with special focus on; volumes, inventory and unit costing for Oslo Plant
• Partner with Plant leadership to drive operating performance and build cross functional relationships with key stakeholders
• Proactively work on business cases for optimizing Oslo Plant portfolio, own the numbers, and pitch out to global management
• Base cost analytics
• Drive continuous improvements and simplification of financial processes: Finance and Management reporting tools, budgeting and estimating processes, standard production cost set ups & analysis, and capital investments
• SAP key user for the Controlling modules; including responsibility for Buy/HALB/FINI costing updates
• Contribute to decision processes in projects (CAPEX) from a financial viewpoint. I.e. make sure we allocate cash correctly
• Assists in analysis of intercompany goods movement and implementation of controls

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics and/or Business Administration
• Relevant work experience, preferably from manufacturing environment
• Fluency in English, and Norwegian both written and spoken
• Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Hyperion, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookups, and Macros)
• Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
• High degree of accuracy and assertiveness. Not afraid of speaking in front of an audience and stand up for your opinions
• Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others
