Telematics is a new solution designed to give the latest innovations and services in telematics for fleets of all shapes and sizes.

Essential for every business, it is the only GPS vehicle tracking system that integrates fuel card usage with live tracking data , for a comprehensive fleet management system. Using satellite technology, Telematics communicates directly with the engine management systems of our customers vehicles, showing live vehicle locations, journey history and highlighting exactly how their vehicles are being driven. All this can be viewed through our industry leading MI tool ?Velocity?. This allows customers to manage both fuel cards and vehicles, in one place. Unlike others on the market, Telematics offers customers a price guarantee, giving us a distinct competitive edge. Full product training will be given.

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Contact an existing portfolio of customers to offer the Telematics product
  • Prospect new customers to market Telematics, including following up on mailshots and e-flyers
  • Following up internal referrals and incoming website leads
  • Fully educate customers on the features and benefits of Telematics, arranging and performing on-line screen sharing demonstrations
  • Take new business orders for Telematics, incorporating checking vehicle makes, models and series to determine installation type
  • Provide an after sales service to ensure customers have an impeccable customer experience
  • Gain new Customer referrals
  • There may also be the opportunity to attend exhibitions / trade shows to further market Telematics

Experience/ skills required

  • Hard working and self-motivated with a desire to succeed
  • Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to have articulate conversations with fleet operators
  • A proven track record in sales
  • Professionalism and respect for colleagues and peers at all times
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined to follow the daily target driven structure
  • First-rate communications skills; demonstrating confidence
  • Adapt well to a changing environment
