As we continue to grow, we are now looking for a qualified candidate for the role as Sales Manager- Renewables & Utilities at our premises in Trondheim. Renewables & Utilities delivers innovative products and services to the utilities and renewable energy sector.   What's in it for you?   We are currently looking for enthusiastic sales talents with a desire to succeed in the energy sector to join our team in Trondheim. The position will focus on sales of innovative products and services to the utilities and renewable energy sector.   You will be working with these main tasks and responsibilities:  
  • Identify new prospects and further develop business relations with existing customers     
  • Actively work to ensure sales targets and budgets are met, take lead to prepare proposals, in close coordination with our team and VP Sales & Marketing     
  • Negotiate and close profitable new contracts     
  • Develop solid sustainable and long term productive relationships     
  • Technical/commercial clarifications on customer needs in cooperation with Product Management     
  • Participate in sales/marketing activities arranged by the business unit     
  • The position requires extensive travel, mainly in Europe and Norway     
What do we expect?  
  • BSc’s/MSc’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant field required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered for the educational requirement     
  • Qualified candidate must have excellent achievements in system sales, commercial orientation, and a desire to work in a tech environment     
  • Qualified candidate must have excellent inter-personal skills including negotiation and conflict resolution, be competitive and driven, yet patient enough to work long sales cycles     
  • Qualified candidate must have the ability to build networks and gain trust and cooperation, work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, be flexible, and work with a sense of urgency in a changing and fast-paced environment     
  • Knowledge within budgeting processes     
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written     
We would also prefer if you have the following expertise:  
  • Established network within Norwegian/European utility sector     
  • Fluent in Norwegian, both verbal and written
