JOB DIMENSION

To give ergonomic services according to the description under the section "Activities" to both the onshore and offshore organisation in Total E&P Norge AS. The work is supposed to cover 20 - 30% of a full position.

ACTIVITIES

- Ergonomics mappings and risk evaluations on offshore installations and in the TEPN offices

-Ergonomics evaluations and counseling within all parts of the profession ergonomics, directed towards the offshore as well as the office activities

- Assessments and follow-up at the organizational as well as the individual level.

- Active participation as a hired member of the company's occupational health services.

- Responsible for describing and carrying out the work within the field of ergonomics in TEPN.

- Ergonomic risk evaluations of Total E&P Norge's present and future installations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

- Mappings of equipment/work operations offshore, including use of adequate computer based tools, for instance "Ergorisk" or similar.

HSE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITYCONTEXT AND THE ENVIRONMENT

The work will be onshore, as a member of the occupational health care services.

Infrequent offshore trips of some days' duration must be expected.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

The purpose of this position is to ensure that the health service of the facility is perfomed in accordance with professional and etical standards, National regulations and company specific requirements.

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Relevant education, preferably physical therapist with further education/specialization within ergonomics.

- Minimum 5 years experience with ergonomics/working environment from offshore related industry.

- Further education within Human factors is beneficial

- Preferably experience from other industries and office work
