Director, Program and Engineering

We are looking for a new Director to head our Program Management and Global Engineering department in the Couplings business unit, who will also be part of the global business units management team.

For the successful candidate its a great time to be joining the global management team in Couplings which offers truly exciting opportunities. Indeed, our business has a very strong and established position in Europe, and is growing fast in China. In addition, were also starting to grow our activities in the US.

The role is responsible for ensuring program execution in line with our customer requirements; to manage programs from business win to start of production and ensure product lifecycle management.

Our new Director will also have the responsibility for our Engineering department and to ensure we will produce competitive products for our global customers, as well as supporting customer improvement initiatives.

We are looking for candidates with 5-10 years of experience in program management and engineering from the automotive business. It is important with multi discipline experience, as well as experience of leadership of global projects with different cultures and time zones.

The successful candidate will need to have a proven record of engineering management and program execution; delivering result with a high level of energy, enjoy working in a fast paced environment, following company processes and still have an entrepreneurial mind-set.

The role will report to SVP Couplings and preferably be located at our plant in Raufoss. The new Director, Program and Engineering is expected to travel internationally around 50 days annually.
