Field Engineer Coating on Stord

We are currently looking for an experienced Field Engineer Coating.

Location: Stord

Job description and responsibilities:

• In General: Strategy, Plan, Prepare and Execute all Coating activities related to all phases on the Njord A Project
• Overall responsibility for coating activities in the project,. Follow up towards engineering, prefabrication and suppliers
• May be asked to support other ongoing projects on coating and surface issues in the first month, from April 100% in Njord
• Travels or mobility to Sites (Norway or Europe will be required for engineering follow up, and installation onshore)

Competence requirements:

• BSc or equivalent competence within coating technology, polymer materials and insulation
• At least 8 years’ of experience in coating technology and follow up coating activities and insulation work in project development
• Extensive knowledge within customer’s governing documentation
• Experience with engineering contractors
• High focus on HSE, ethics and values
• Well-developed cooperational- and communication abilities
• Ability to work structured, systematic and towards a target
• Multidiscipline understanding and ability to work ‘across’ all areas in the project
• Ability to handle responsibility and periodically high work loads
• Mobility is required
