Group Purchasing is Jotun's corporate function responsible for purchasing strategies, guidelines and commercial execution with suppliers on behalf of Jotun's worldwide network and companies. The position as Purchasing Executive will be part of a team responsible for development and implementation of policies and procedures, and data and information management and administration, for Jotun's raw material and supplier portfolios. This entails approval processing, information, data and documentation collection and administration by utilizing existing, and developing new, effective solutions to ensure compliance with internal and external rules and regulations. Jotun's Group Purchasing team consists of 30 dedicated people, whereof 15 are located in Sandefjord, Norway.

Tasks

Contribute in the approval process for raw materials and suppliers.
Ensure information and data quality and completeness in Jotun's raw material and supplier portfolios.
Administrate Jotun's raw material and supplier portfolios, ensuring centralized data governance, documentation and control by proactive engagement in the Jotun network and corresponding information and data maintenance in designated systems and repositories.
Creation and maintenance of technical and commercial raw material and supplier information and data to ensure correct system set up and connections to enable internal and external transactions, and transactional reporting.
