Technical Tender Manager Electrical Systems (KMC 17-003)

Kongsberg Maritime is searching for a Technical Tender Manager towards the international offshore, marine and oil & gas market.

Kongsberg Maritime Engineering (KME) is a fully own subsidiary of Kongsberg Maritime.  Core competence in KME is system integration engineering. In addition being a systems integrator KME provides Procurement & Construction (EPC) solutions within Automation, Control, Electro and Telecom (ACET) to the marine and offshore industry worldwide.        

The Tender Manager will actively participate in the sales process and be responsible for the electrical part of the Kongsberg Maritime sales activity within this segment. The candidate will be part of a group involved in further development of energy solutions.

The candidate must have a Bachelor or Master degree within electrical engineering (Electrical Power). Experience from the offshore industry and extensive experience within electrical distribution/power & propulsion systems for offshore, O&G and marine applications is required. Candidates with experience from a broad electrical product range will be preferred.

The candidate must also have the ability to adapt to different cultures and be able to travel. Excellent communication skills and applying these to build trust for our solutions is essential to succeed in the position.

The candidate must be able to travel worldwide for customer meetings.
