Global Engineering Director

The Global Engineering Director will be responsible for development and coordination of the engineering area in the group. The position will be located either in Freiburg, Germany or in Skien, Norway.

Responsibility and tasks:

• Lead the Global Engineering Management Team
• Improvement of common tools, processes and guidelines
• Competence development of engineering teams
• Global resource management across all EFD Induction engineering sites
• Training & implementation of common engineering guidelines

Requirements:

• Mechanical/ Electrical Engineer with strong background from industrial machinery design
• Extensive management experience
• Systematic work style, pro-active and problem-solving attitude
• Good communication skills and fluency in oral and written English
• Ability to work in a matrix organization
• Willingness to travel internationally
