Glamox Production Molde (GPM) has 185 employees and a turnover of NOK 730 million (2015). GPM is the largest production unit in Glamox and belongs to the SPL-division (sourcing, production and logistics). We are now looking for a new

Factory Manager

The factory manager is overall responsible for the performance of GPM. We are looking for a result-oriented leader, with a proven track record from managing production units.

Tasks

• Overall responsibility for profit & loss, personnel and HSEQ
• Develop the organization for optimal performance, including people development and continuous improvement programs
• Align GPM with the Glamox group's goals and strategy
• Ensure good communication with the other business units in Glamox, customers and suppliers
• Review and follow up on KPI's
• Part of SPL management team

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering
• Knowledge of business and management principles and practices in modern production organization
• Knowledge of Lean production principles
• Knowledge of strategic planning
• Knowledge of human resource management principles and procedures  
• Knowledge of basic economic and accounting principles and practices
• Fluent speaking and writing in Norwegian and English
