Senior M&A analyst

StrongPoint has experienced considerable growth the last years, and is focused on continued growth both technologically and internationally.  This growth will partly be secured through organic development and through M&A.  In order to strengthen the focus on M&A, StrongPoint is looking to employ a Senior M&A analyst.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Participate in aspects of the acquisition process including valuation modelling, due diligence support, coordination with external investment bankers and financial advisors, transaction support, and presenting findings to senior management.

• Researching M&A candidates, including qualitative, financial and valuation analyses.

• Organizing and conducting due diligence on potential acquisition targets.
• Working as a key liaison to business segments, transaction advisors and acquisition targets.

• Collaborates with all Finance sub-functions to execute transaction activities as required.

• Analyzes the financial impact and risks of potential acquisitions and investments in order to assist in formulating courses of action.

Required qualifications

• Education; Masters degree in economics, finance, business administration or related field from an accredited college / university.

• IFRS Expertise, financial reporting experience.

• Exceptional problem solving and communication skills.
• Some knowledge of financial modelling and valuation techniques.
  

• Strong computer skills; profiency in Excel, Powerpoint and word.

• Willingness to work significant hours in a challenging and fast-paced workplace .
