Systems Engineer - Air Traffic Management

Do you have a desire to work with advanced systems for surveillance and control of air traffic? Indra Navia, Tower Systems are searching for skilled workers. We are located in Horten, but moving to new premises in the centre of Asker in January 2018. The engineering team consists of 13 engineers, working closely with sales / marketing, product management, product development, project delivery and services. We also participate actively in the international SESAR (Single European Sky ATM Research) project for the development and deployment of future ATM systems. The product InNOVA has a solid market position and is installed at more than 100 airports worldwide. Tower Systems is developing rapidly, and we are facing an exciting new phase of major expansion. Main work task:
- Customer requirement handling, make and control of technical specifications, test and system documentation
- System build-up, configuration, quality control and formal factory testing
- System installation, commissioning and formal testing at customer site or at sub suppliers premises

Required qualifications:
- Technical education on B.Sc. level within Data/Avionics/Tele/Communication
- Experience with Linux OS and some C++
- Network communication
- Fluent English, written and spoken

Other desirable qualifications:  
- Fluent Norwegian, written and spoken
- Experience as Systems Engineer
- Knowledge of airport sensors and radar systems
- General experience / knowledge of ATC 
- Experience in teaching people or positive to hold product training for our customers
