COMMISSIOING ENGINEER, AUTOMATION/INSTRUMENT, AASTA HANSTEEN

Work description, including but not limited to:

• The Commissioning engineer shall ensure day-to-day planning, preparation and executing of the commissioning work according to customer's best practice and according to WR2090 for the Aasta Hansteen Project.
• The candidate must have extensive experience with field instrumentation.
• Contribute to a HSE minded and goal oriented commissioning organization.
• Contribute to plans/ schedules, procedures, routines and work processes used during commissioning. Special attention to Commissioning Procedures.
• Follow up and ensure that ProCoSys are updated, and used within organization.
• Experience transfer from/to other relevant projects and towards the base organization.
• Exercise RFC (Ready for Commissioning) and RFO (Ready for Operation).
• Coordinate commissioning activies with Construction, Engineering and Vendor.
• Participate as an active member of the Aasta Hansteen Commissioning Team.
• Reports to Aasta Hansteen Commissioning Automation Lead

Competence requirements:

University degree (8+ years of relevant experience)/Bachelor of science (12+ years of relevant experience) or equivalent.

• Longer relevant experience may compensate for less formal education
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Very good oral and writing in English
• Minimum 6 years experience from multi-discipline project.
• Willingness to travel between office locations.
• Structured, proactive, result and solution orientated with a positive mindset
• Thorough and excellent in writing
• Extensive knowledge of customer's governing documents and “Best Practise”.
• Long experience of instrumentation
• Experience with NORSOK standards
• Experience from Offshore installations
• Experience from Overseas travelling related to work

 Other information:

The assignment will start at Ulsan in South Korea the 1st September 2016 and then move on to Norway (Stord) 1st July 2017 (plan)
