Daily operations – Inspiration – Continuous Improvement

Benteler is looking to hire a strong leader with demonstrated good results and expertise from operational management of manufacturing organizations, preferably within the automotive industry. You will be responsible for the daily management and operation of the plant in Raufoss, and have extended responsibility for the satellite plant Skultuna Sweden. By facilitating continuous improvement and operational excellence we expect you to increase plant efficiency and manufactural routines in accordance with the companies KPIs, policies and current legal regulations. The role reports to Executive VP North-Eastern Europe, and is part of the regional management group.

Our preferred candidates have a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive manufacturing experience with consistently high levels of performance. You’re used to navigating within an international environment and have acquired a fundamental understanding of international business culture. Broad experience with operational tools that drives plant performance such as lean manufacturing principles and a proved track record from operational restructuring processes is a great advantage. Education at university level is preferred, preferably with emphasis on operations/manufacturing, business, quality and/or engineering. Fluent English skills, both written and oral, are a prerequisite. Mastery of a Scandinavian language is mandatory.
