Head waiter at Engø GårdRestaurant manager Signe Jensen is looking for a new headwaiter that will assist in managing the restaurant and banquet. 
Engø Gård has one of Norway’s best locations with majestic surroundings and it gives you a “close to nature” experiences.
You will be part of a highly professional team that is always focusing on expressing the quality of local products and homemade specialties.
Together with Signe and Chef Ulrik, you will use your creativity and knowledge to create unique gastronomic experiences by combining wines with the menus at hand

 

Wine seller

We work on the wine menus every single day and demand high levels of skill from our eminent wine waiters, with restaurant and kitchen working closely together. 
You will be a part of our sommelier team, and be responsible for a wine cellar of approx. 500 different wines and growing. We create various types of wine tastings, 
enabling guests to choose from, for example, Champagne, Sancerre, Chardonnay, Riesling, Bourgogne, Medoc as well as other varieties of grape and wines from other countries.

 

As a Headwaiter/ Sommelier.

You have very good experiences with handling of wine and are comfortable with working in a high-end environment. You encourage freethinking and have the ability to provide high quality customer service adjustable to customer demands.
Engø Gård is also one of the most attractive wedding destinations in Norway and can deliver a full size wedding
with a 7-course gourmet dinner where you will have a central role in planning, preparing and executing such events for up to 200 persons.

  • Minimum 5 years as a Sommelier.
  • Work in high-level restaurants with fine dining.

  • Well rounded in watering and prioritizing skills.
