Job Description:
The position is part of the VSAT Engineering, Networks team at Eik Teleport. The team consists currently of 13 senior network specialists with extensive knowledge of global terrestrial and satellite networks. Primary focus for the position will be to develop and operate the global infrastructure as well as serve as a senior network specialist and adviser towards management and other teams. Special focus will be on product development, core network design and system integration work related to existing and future products.
Required Qualifications:
- Technical education at bachelor level or higher
- Strong IP and Network knowledge
- Good knowledge of English, written and oral
- Well organized and capable of handling multiple assignments and projects
- Collaborative and cooperative approach to leadership and management
Desired Qualifications (not required):
- Cisco CCNA or higher
- Routing/Switching, Voice/Video, MPLS, Datacenter, LMS/PRIME, 3G/4G, vMWare
- Satellite access platforms
- Software development skills and experience
- Project and/or product management experience
Relevant experience may compensate for missing qualifications
