Area of Responsibility
- Selection and qualification of suppliers
- Plan production and purchasing activities
- Purchase of equipment and services
- Support supplier activities
- Responsible for the supplier performance related to quality, cost and delivery
- Plan and carry out Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
- Support, plan and carry out final assembly activities
- Support, plan and carry out test activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor/MSc mechanical engineer, additional education or experience within purchasing would be an advantage. Missing formal education can be replaced by relevant experience
- Strong professional interest
- Ability to communication and teamwork, also with customers and suppliers
- Desire to work in a multidisciplinary and creative working environment
- Good language skills, Norwegian and English
- Knowledge of IT applications such as Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access)
- Experience with ERP Systems would be an advantage
- Cast house experience would be an advantage
