Work Tasks and areas of responsibility:

Testing and implementing new VSAT antennas, RF and other related equipment.
Internal technical documentation
Technical support for Field Engineers and MNOC (Maritime Network Operation Center).
Vendor contact point for VSAT antennas, modems and RF-equipment.
The employee will be a part of the high skilled VSAT Maritime Engineering department at Eik Teleport.
Some travelling may be required.

Education and Experience:

Higher Technical University education - BSc/Eng or relevant experience as a technician.
Satellite and/or digital communication
Good English skills, both written and oral

Additional qualifications (non-essential):

IP and networking
Customer care and support

Personal qualifications:

Can take initiative and work independently when needed
Is structured and orderly
Is flexible and can work within a team
Is customer oriented
