Join our Regional Management team as Vice President for Supply Chain Management
Work Tasks and areas of responsibility:
The Regional VP for Supply Chain Management is overall responsible for the supply chain function within EMAS AMC in Norway. The nature of services is at the core of EMAS AMC’s business and extends from supporting our commercial team in the tender/bid process to supporting our project execution team throughout the course of the projects. The main drive for the function on short and medium term is to manage increased operational and strategic procurement challenges related to expected business growth.
The candidate we are searching will be expected to:
• Development and implementation of the SCM strategy and plan taking account of strategy and KPI defined at regional and global level
• Organisation and management of the regional SCM department to support Tendering, Projects and Marine Assets
• Develop and strengthen the supply chain discipline covering Procurement, Subcontract, Expediting, and Logistics; including governance, competence development, capacity, and professional supplier relations
• Plan, organize and drive overall procurement processes and organization through all phases in cooperation with relevant disciplines
• Establish templates and contract models with associated compensation formats and T&C’s
• Ensure professional commercial negotiations related to strategic subcontracts and/or contracts establishments
• Ensure uniform interpretation of procurement policies, procedures and requirements to secure consistent application in line with business requirements
• Ensure allocation of sufficient and relevant procurement competence and capacity to ongoing tenders and projects
• Ensure a professional approach to procurement in all phases and stages, including close out reports and experience transfer
• Establish individual sourcing and supply chain strategies in cooperation with other disciplines
• Manage the issue of RFQ’s and administer clarifications, negotiations and contract awards • Ensure a healthy and motivating working environment within own area
Education and Experience:
• University degree supporting main objectives for the position
• Documented leadership experience and achievements
• Sufficient work experience from the supplier sector in the oil & gas industry within SCM or Procurement
