Local Unit & Position Description
You will become part of the Global IT Infrastructure department in GSS IT, the internal IT organization responsible for delivering a wide range of IT capabilities and capacities to business and corporate units.
Global IT Infrastructure and End User Services is responsible for the VerIT Enterprise Infrastructure platform and End User support.We want to recruit a Service Manager IT Security working close with a number of infrastructure specialists in a true global environment.The position is recently established in order to operate our new security toolbox. The role will play an important role in our initiative to improve our IT security processes and capabilities.
- Manage the security incident process across GSS IT and the VerIT Enterprise platform
- Perform security management reporting
- Be the liaison between different infrastructure teams related to security
- Participate in ongoing development projects related to IT Security
- Monitoring of security threats and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with IT Security Baseline through audit programs
Position Qualifications
You have:
- Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent experience
- Operational (hands-on) experience within information security from global IT organizations
- Good knowledge about security trends & threats and regulatory security requirements
- Good knowledge about Microsoft’s server and client product portfolio, Cisco network products and solutions and VMware virtualization platform

- Passion and interest for IT Security matters
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English – written and oral; working language is English
- Open to change, proactive, and with a service-minded attitude
- Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with new challenges and a personal drive to achieve goals
- Dedication and a creative problem solving attitude
