Security Architect

Local Unit & Position Description

You will become part of the Enterprise Architecture department in GSS IT, our internal IT organization responsible for delivering a wide range of IT capabilities and capacities to business and corporate units, and to end users worldwide in a global organization. The IT Tactical Plan calls for significant consolidation and harmonization of DNV GL’s IT platform, where connective tissues play and crucial role. Enterprise Architecture is responsible for overall enterprise architecture and IT planning, connective tissue (integrations and master data management), IT security and IT risk management. The unit collaborates closely with other units in GSS IT.

• IT architecture planning with focus on security.
• Maintain and develop security architecture best practices and principles as basis for architecture approval of new solutions.
• Close co-operation and contact with business units and technical environments including involvement in relevant projects.
• Monitoring of trends and overall threat picture and emerging technologies.
• Drive continuous improvements on security and technology specific parts of the platform.
• Drive continuous improvement of the IT Security Baseline.
• Participate in analysis and examinations related to threats and risks.
• Take part in security audits.

Position Qualifications

You have:

• Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent experience
• Significant experience from platform development
• Significant experience from IT security architecture planning and execution
• Good knowledge about Microsoft’s server and client product portfolio

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English – written and oral; working language is English
