Key Account Manager -

Kongsberg Automotive, Raufoss is looking for a Key Account Manager for our German OEM customers & Valve Manufacturers.

Job description:

• Develop, manage and grow business relationships with OEM customers and valve manufacturers
• Coordinate and lead complex commercial and technical negotiations
• Develop sales strategies for responsible key accounts to ensure revenue and profit growth in the territory
• Establish and ensure customer understanding, acceptance, and adherence to rules of engagement
• Interact and coordinate with the sales team and other staff members in other departments working on the same account
• Provide timely information on competitive activities within the accounts and overall market place
• Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts by up-selling and cross-selling
• Budget ownership for key sales accounts
• Establish and insure the accuracy and timelines of quotations

Profile:

• Bachelors or Masters degree (technical background is preferred)
• 2-5 years relevant sales or engineering experience, preferably from automotive sector
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & German
• Proficiency in MS Office software specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong negotiation, value-based selling, customer presentation, and communication skills
• Strong networking skills with customers as well as within KA
