Project Engineering Manager

Work Tasks and areas of responsibility:

• Manage all engineering activities within designated Projects and Tenders according to EMAS’ Divisional procedures.
• Take part in Operational SJA / HAZIDs / HAZOPs / FMEAs as identified during the engineering stages    
• Develop ideas, methods and systems to maximize asset utilization
• Contribute in technical bid strategies.
• Make sure that efficiency, safety and quality are maintained in deliveries.
• Review method statements and offshore installation procedures.
• Ensure that HSE policy, zero mind-set policy, is implemented in the engineering deliverables.
• Act on behalf of project manager on technical matters

Education and Experience:

• Higher Technical University education - BSc/MSc/Eng or relevant offshore experience
• Min 10 year relevant experience in one or several of the following areas; 
• • Platform floater/ installation
  • SURF installations
  • Heavy-lift operations
  • Mating/ Float-over
  • Removal/ Decommissioning
  • IMR (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair)
  • Experience with EPCI contracts, in particular subcontracting and procurement. 
• Familiar with rules, regulations, standards and requirements within Subsea EPCI Projects
• Good English skills, both written and oral
