2 Medical Advisors - CNS and Oncology
Janssen wish to strengthen their medical affairs team in Norway and hereby we are seeking 2 field based Medical advisors to support our business in CNS and Oncology. The Medical Advisor is responsible for becoming a scientific and clinical expert on our portfolios and its related clinical areas and competitors. With this expertise, the field based Medical Advisor provides clinical and scientific support to internal and external customers in the Nordic countries.
Responsibilities of a Medical Advisor:
* Be regarded as an expert of the therapeutic area by target customer groups, i.e. internal customers, commercial partners, key opinion leaders and specialist within the therapeutic area
* Develop clinical and technical expertise on Janssen's portfolio and its related medical fields and competitors
* To maximize the company product's value through high scientific quality communication with leading specialists on a peer-to-peer basis
* Be the primary contact for leading specialists and their supporting teams in the relevant clinics
* Ensure communication of scientific information about clinical studies, clinical data and products
* Implement and coordinate clinical trial programs & activities and other related research activities
* Organize Medical Education activities including program development, speaker selection and support
* Provide internal stakeholders, with medical training, support, feedback and intelligence regarding the market environment and clinical strategies
* Support the set up and follow up of registries and other non-interventional Medical Affairs studies
* Participate in investigator meetings preparation, recruitment follow-up and study result presentation
* Maintain updated knowledge about clinical activities and studies conducted within the therapeutic area in their region
* Act as a reference point to Account Managers for any scientific query, in collaboration with Medical Information as appropriate
* To provide input to the company`s Medical Affairs Plan
* Give support to medical review of marketing material and regulatory texts (SPCs)
Experience / Skills:
* MD or university degree within Science or Pharmacy. PhD in life sciences is a merit.
* 2 -3 years industry experience in a medical or scientific role from the industry
* Prior clinical and/or scientific expertise in CNS or oncology is a merit
* Strong commitment to create value for the CNS or oncology community
* Fluent in Norwegian language and capable of effective communication in oral and written English language
* Customer focused and commercial mindset
* Good presentation skills
* Able to quickly assimilate and digest multiple, complex information
* A high level of computer literacy

Both positions are based at Lysaker, Norway, and will report directly to Therapeutic Area Head Oncology and Therapeutic Area Head CNS.
