Work Tasks and areas of responsibility:

The position participates in both technical and commercial risk management activities related to EMAS AMC activities. The Risk Adviser will act interdisciplinary and provide requirements, advice and support within risk management.

Main responsibilities and tasks in prioritised order:

• Provide knowledge of appropriate Risk Management systems and to convey this knowledge within the organisation
• Act on behalf of Tender and Project Managers in Risk matters, establish, monitor, control and update tender and project risk registers
• Provide support to all functions, projects and operations with regard to risk management best practices
• To provide EMAS AMC with knowledge of risk management systems and tools
• Represent EMAS AMC and actively contribute in the global risk group of EMAS AMC
• Contribute to development and maintain guidelines and procedures for management of contractual, commercial, technical, and operational risk

Education and Experience:

• Technical education on university level. Other education is acceptable when accompanied with minimum 5 years of relevant experience      and documented results
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of risk management experience, preferably from  marine operations or the oil & gas industry in general
• A good understanding of risk management principles, including familiarity of relevant professional standards, e.g. ISO31000/31010,      ISO9001/9004/14001, DNV-RP-H101
