Specialist / Senior Engineer

Work tasks and areas of responsibility:

• Project engineering work such as preparation and verification of procedures/reports, planning of offshore operations, preparing specifications for project equipment and subcontracts, follow-up of mobilisations, and offshore work.
• Preparation for and participation in risk assessments and design reviews.
• Participation in tenders, projects, and studies.
• Assist the department manager in developing, implementing and maintaining norms, guidelines and procedures.
• Cooperate with, and advise colleagues.
            

Education and Experience:

• Higher technical education; BSc/MSc in a relevant engineering discipline.

• Relevant experience within one or more of the following areas:
• • Subsea production systems/structures
  • Diving operations
  • Umbilicals
  • Cable installation
  • Riser installation
  • Installation of flexible flowlines and rigid pipelines
  • Structure installation
  • Tie-ins
  • Pre-commissioning
  • Landfall/trenching/geotechnical issues
  • IMR (inspection, maintenance and repair)
  • Basic Structure calculations/ Seafastening Calculations
  • Orcaflex
• Good working knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• Good English skills.
• Capability to write clear and informative reports.
