ROV Manager

Work Tasks and areas of responsibility:

• ROV specialist based onshore in the Oslo office of EMAS AMC
• Ensure ROV performance, technical integrity, certificates in place to support tenders, projects and charters for assigned vessel(s).
• Ensure availability of required ROV’s and tooling to support tenders and projects
• Ensure ROV assets management in line with regional and global requirements
• Ensure qualified ROV crew, cost effective operation and liaison with the relevant crewing departments
• Responsible manager for all ROV’s and equipment assigned to the vessel(s) in the region, i.e. technical performance, maintenance, inventory control; budgets, cost and       performance versus KPI’s
• Pro-actively provide ROV related support and services to regional tenders and projects including mobilization of intervention tooling
• Liaise with global ROV services division in Singapore to ensure access to tooling and qualified personnel
• Review the technical performance and activities both operationally and financially
• Develop or obtain necessary ROV operation procedures

Education and Experience:

• Offshore operational experience in ROV roles ranging from pilot, technician and/or supervisor
• Strong background in ROV Operations Systems and tooling in general
• Experience of working in an onshore role is preferred but not a prerequisite
• Formal technical training in mechanics, electronics, and/or hydraulics is preferred

• Strong drive, pro-active mind-set, with the ability to work under pressure
• Good English communication skills and ability to work in multi-cultural environments
• Strong interpersonal skills
