Senior Engineer, Umbilicals

Work Tasks and areas of responsibility:

• Take part in the Umbilical discipline in Basis and take lead on Umbilical scope for the design, procurement and      engineering of umbilicals in both tenders and projects.
• Form part of Installation team to execute offshore operations.
• Prepare HIRA sessions during the engineering and operational stages    
• Review method statements and offshore installation procedures.
• Ensure that HSE policy, zero mind-set policy, is implemented in the engineering deliverables.
• Act on behalf of project manager on technical matters

Education and Experience:

• Higher Technical University education - BSc/MSc/Eng or relevant offshore experience
• Min 5 year relevant offshore installation experience, predominantly Umbilical Installations
• Experience with EPCI contracts, in particular subcontracting and procurement.
• Familiar with rules, regulations, standards and requirements related to Umbilicals in all stages of EPCI.
• Good English skills, both written and oral
