Contract Manager / Contract Engineer

EMAS AMC’s contracts management team are now looking for (at least) two new individuals to join us. The contracts management team is overall responsible for all Client Contracts within EMAS AMC. The nature of services is at the core of EMAS AMC’s business and extends from supporting our commercial team in the tender/bid process to supporting our project execution team throughout the course of the projects.

The candidates we are searching will be expected to:

• Have the ability to read and understand complex subsea construction and installation contracts
• Have the ability to propose changes to client provided contracts to ensure compliance with EMAS AMC corporate standards
• Have the ability to lead and perform negotiations of EPCI contracts in the tender phase (with support from other disciplines)
• Have the ability to identify risks and propose mitigating solutions whether in the tender phase or in the project execution phase
• Have the ability to communicate efficiently both towards internal and external stakeholders
• Have an understanding of projects and the ability to assist the project management team with addressing deviations and changes experienced or proposed in the execution phase in a contractual manner
• Have the ability to work in an inter-disciplinary multi-national environment as part of a larger team, and
• Have the ability to handle parallel activities and, at times, high workloads 

Education and Experience: 

Our team consists of employees with a varied background but either of following is an advantage (albeit not an absolute criteria):

• A legal background from law firms or in-house positions; or
• A commercial or technical background but with previous experience from tenders and/or projects, and
• Experience from the subsea or shipping industry
