Procurement Manager

The position is responsible for the overall procurement (including Supply Chain Management and Client Contracts) in projects. The main drive for the Procurement Manager function on short and medium term is managing challenges related to expected growth and ambitions of EMAS AMC. 

Main responsibilities and tasks in prioritised order:

• Actively contribute to support the overall goals and ambitions of EMAS AMC Oslo
• Ensure establishment of, building and management of the procurement function; including governance, core competencies and professional supplier relations, by utilising Best Practice of Procurement
• Plan, organise and drive overall procurement processes through all steps (e.g.: identify and verify potential strategic contractors/suppliers, ITT processes) in close cooperation with relevant technical disciplines and competence/task units
• Contribute to the establishment of project execution strategies in close cooperation with the Project Commercial Managers, if relevant
• Ensure establishment of templates and contract models with associated compensation formats and T&C’s
• Ensure professional commercial negotiations related to strategic subcontracts/contract establishments
• Ensure at any time sufficient and relevant contracts and procurement competencies and capacities 

Education and Experience:

• Technical/commercial/legal education on university level
• At least 10 years of relevant experience within oil and gas related procurement, particular international offshore EPC contracts within topsides, subsea or marine contracts
• Project experience from major oil and gas development projects
• At least 5 years management experience
