We are looking for a Business Controller with a highly analytical mind, strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude. We value the ability to communicate key findings and suggested solution effectively, as well as facilitate effective team interaction. As a Business Controller you will participate in board meetings of SCM and business reviews of our international subsidiaries. The role provides a unique opportunity to "learn the ropes" of the classified business, preparing the right candidate for other tasks within our group. The position will report to the CFO of SCM.

Tasks

Follow up a specific group of companies on a monthly basis
Quality assure forecasts, budgets and the budgeting process
Contribute to Schibsted's external financial reporting
Conduct analysis and provide insight into the operations of our subsidiaries
Performance assessment of operations
Assist the CFOs in our companies in preparing business cases, forecasts and other analysis
Identify problems or potential problems and offer practical solutions
Ad hoc analyses of key issues for CEO and CFO of SCM

Qualifications

2-4 years of work experience, and/or
MBA or MSc with outstanding academic results.
Experienced working with people.
Experienced using analytical tools.
Advanced presentation skills (verbally and in writing).
Highly experienced in using excel and its analysis functionality.
Willingness to travel is required.
