Wellcraft NOVA SPYDER fully restorated (no donzi scarab formula cigarette)

For sale is a legendary classic offshore powerboat - The WELLCRAFT NOVA SPYDER 26, year of build 1982. There's not many of them left now and surely only one of this kind and shape in the entire world. The boat was fully renovated and converted to outboard during two years of hard work. It is absolutely "like new". Every single bit on the boat was either replaced or restored.

Nova Spyder is an exceptional boat. Well known and honoured. As all of the best boatyards were bought out by bigger corporations some time ago and they don't make them like that anymore. It's a perfect example of a technical masterpiece and its hi-end build quality. Different than most of todays "cost effective" constructions. It handles rough water like a Cadillac and goes over corners like a Corvette.

Boat is rigged with a SUZUKI DF300APX engine. It gives as good performance as the oldschool factory (much more heavier, expensive to maintain and obviously very thirsty) set of dual 5.7 V8's with a LOT better economy. Boat easily reaches 53MPH of top speed and can cruise all day long at around 30MPH burning only 7,5 GPH.

The outboard bracket we've built is capable to fit dual outboard setup. We can rig it with dual V6's on demand. It will possibly get around 70 MPH of top speed then.


Here's what we've done:
1. Replaced the transom
2. Built the stringers more solid in the aft part
3. Built an outboard bracket with a custom swim platform (ready for rigging dual V6 setup) which extended the boat from 26 to 28,3 ft.
4. All linings, carpets, inside/outside upholstery, cabin/cockpit equipment new.
5. New electrical installation with all the lightning, switches, gauges, pumps, cables etc.
6. New hydraulic Sea Star steering system.
7. New hi-fi system
8. New custom paint job based on very durable epoxy/polyurethane paint systems.
9. New black gunwale
10 New Suzuki DF300 APX engine.
